Dear Readers,
Sometimes good things come to an end because circumstances change.
I have decided to discontinue writing articles for this blog which was originally written for Colorado gardeners. The reasons are two-fold.
My freelance arrangement writing for The Denver Post came to a close in March, 2025. We were unable to agree on the terms of a contract, plus compensation - probably the two main reasons people make changes.
We left on good terms and I will forever be grateful for the writing opportunities which began in 2012. Everyone at The DP over the course of my freelance time was professional, easy to work with and very friendly. I wish them the best success always. I hope you continue to read The Denver Post.
I posted many of my Denver Post articles to this blog after they were published in The Denver Post Saturday Life & Culture section.
The second reason I won't be active on this blog is that we moved away from Denver in 2023 and it isn't as convenient to write about gardening in Colorado as it was while living in central Denver.

I will update links as needed.
Thank you very, VERY much for reading my blog and Denver Post articles over the years. I wish you the best in your life, which most certainly includes your garden!
